BuckleyBoo 17 inch Plush Buckley Bear Review

I snagged this bear from [...] when my daughter was 18 months. She'd started to become interested in anything with buckles. It's one of the few toys that has been a constant interest for her. It's take some time for her to learn the buckles and now the match ribbons. At 2, she doesn't yet have the strength to undo the buckles; so we play together. Great toy! I came to Amazon to get one for a friend :)

BuckleyBoo 17 inch Plush Buckley Bear Feature

  • BuckleyBoos encourage cognitive development through multi-stage learning.
  • Stage 1: Matching - Children first learn to scan and match the 5 brightly patterned ribbons- polka dot to polka dot, stripe to stripe.
  • Stage 2: Buckling - At eighteen months, children are ready to buckle, but they cannot yet unbuckle, which makes BuckleyBoo, for a time, a toy to be shared between parent and child.
  • At three years, children have both the physical strength and the problem solving skills to buckle and unbuckle and they will happily do for hours on end.
  • Includes an internal motion activated chime which will delight your child
BuckleyBoos encourage cognitive development through multi-stage learning. What this means is that from the ages of 15 months to 4 years your child will embark on a developmental journey where each mastered task serves as a springboard for the next level of learning.

no interest from my toddler - J. Holsten - Lincoln, NE
I was so excited when I found this bear. My toddler stands at her booster seat in the kitchen and constantly loves to buckle and unbuckle, so I figured this was the perfect toy! Wrong...she hasn't touched. It's a great little toy and well made, I guess you just never know if kids will like something. Anyone want to buy a perfectly like-new one? :) ha!
